I was love struck. My index finger froze at the squared image of a blue and green embroidered Mia Mule, placidly resting upon a tower of pink shoe boxes. It was last Summer, when I first encountered these Alberta Ferretti slides. They were royal. Ever since, I have been seeking to find something similar, and within my budget. One year later, I have finally found it, and I think it would be too selfish to hold this a secret. So here is a short round up of flat mules that could very well work for any of you. My favourite: the floral embroidered ones, of course!

Hi guys! I am very much into embellished anything, lately. These jeans are perfect for a casual day, they make it easy to spice up any simple look.
I wore this look not too long ago, pairing two pieces that blended seamlessly thanks to their don't care attitude. The floor grazing cardigan (which many have christened as a Harry Potter cloak) added a touch of drama, and enveloped the look with a special allure.
¡Hola a todos! Últimamente me he dejado seducir por los bordados. Desde el momento en el que me puse estos jeans, supe que eran ideales para dar vida a un look otrora aburrido.

Poplin shirts are having a major moment right now. I love how designers are upping the ante of casual wear, by adding whimsical details to our usual, everyday shirts. They come with ruffles, tassels, flared sleeves, and a long line of etceteras.
The moment I spotted this particular top, I coveted it; its allure residing on how it mixes your typical baby blue stripes with the floral embroideries, a style very à la Gucci. I kept the look on the cool tones, by sticking to blues, whites, and silvers. This way, the outfit results fun, yet smart enough for a casual day of work.
Hope you guys like it!

Is it me or does Mary Katrantzou just keeps on getting chicer and chicer? It seems as if the further she walks away from her print comfort zone, the better her collections become. In case AW14 wasn’t amazing enough, her Resort 2015 collection has shown a totally new side of her. It is elegant but fresh, sexy but subtle, fun but refined. This is a more mature version of Katrantzou, but it is definitely still so Mary.
