Monochrome has been around for a while. We've seen the trend trickling down from runways, to red carpets, to streets. And why wouldn't it, when the outcome is as polished, as it is striking? I've tried the trend a few times, and truth be told, dressing in one single hue, does make life a lot easier. Eliminating the hassle of putting multiple colours together saves a few of those precious morning minutes. To the critical one's, this trend has no downside: extra sleeping time plus a flawless outcome.

Now that the new year is here, I am sure we are filled with excitement, and desire the to be better, to dare more, and to strive for greatness; in two words: TO CHANGE. In the little attempt to do so, I have been thinking that change doesn’t always need to be drastic. Most big changes occur over long periods of time. As a matter of fact, I truly believe that the best type of change, the ones that will last and make a difference are the small, but persistent ones. Like the drop of water that smoothes the surface of a rock, so will small changes polish us, and our societies in a steady, patient manner. And so, as we have heard so many times, if we want change, we have to make it happen, but I propose we do it in small doses.
I always remember about the fact that I live in a tropical country, whenever the rainy season pours down over us. I’m talking about real storms. Not a drizzle, but an actual thunders, cats & dogs scenario. Inspired by the idea of a tropical rain forest, I grabbed my Bambi jumper and set it free in the middle of a garden that resembles a tiny hidden forest. I combined the pullover with a pair of black shorts and black wedges to match. As a final touch, I wore these really fun sunglasses.
