While looking into this season’s trends, I read somewhere on the net that “if it isn’t off the shoulder it isn’t right”. And according to every other designer, this is one the truest statements that sums SS17’s runways. Although slowly, but surely the shoulder mania is reinterpreting itself -I dare to say that we will soon be witnessing the revival of the one-shoulder trend, as opposed to the current whole collarbone exposure-, we still are in the major boom of cold shoulders. The already hot temperatures, make me very thankful for the trend, and so, here I leave you with a little number that makes me crave even more for summer. I hope you guys like it!
PS: Oh and btw, I’m absolutely nuts over these gorgeous, super colorful and practical Colombian bags! So proud of my friend from @Mestizo_sv!
November 1st, 2016. Can you believe it?! As we start the month, I’m here to share with you one more of my looks. On this occasion, I committed myself to print mixing once again. A two piece floral set with leopard print flats seemed like a perfectly crazy combination. I hope you guys like it!
Hi everyone! Last weekend I took a little escapade to the beach. The palms, the sun and the the refreshing sparklings were the perfect company for a short getaway. It all reminded me of this shoot I did, not too long ago. The greens, harmoniously, contrasting with the dashes of yellow and red of the backpack and romper; and the light blue of the shirt works well for an easy cover up.
Hi you guys! I hope you are doing all well! I’ve been pretty busy these past days, working on the styling of an ad campaign, but I still wanted to share with you a casual look I wore not too long ago. I was in the mood for mixing it up, and so I paired a star print top, with a checked shirt. I decided it was best to keep the look on the cool tones, and I was careful not to pair it with your typical red & navy combo, which would have definitely make me look like the American flag. I hope you guys like it!
Wishing you a blasting weekend!
There is something I must admit about this look. It was actually inspired by one of my best friend’s previous outfit. I was never a fan of XL length tops like this burgundy one, until I saw it on my friend one night. As it happened we went to a chill house reunion with a few friends, and she was wearing a pair of vintage looking black jeans and a grey t-shirt, that shapelessly fell all the way to her kneecap. I personally was not allured by it. But the night rolled in, and we moved the party to a club. My friend and I went separately. As I saw her stepping down the car, my opinion about the garment of my objection, completely changed. She had effortlessly tied both ends on a simple yet cool looking knot to the left side of her perfectly toned torso. Needless to say, she looked hot, hot, hot. So when this excessive peace of cloth came my way, I was no longer offended by it, on the contrary it made me want to create a beautiful outfit with it. I hope you guys like it!
Hello lovelies! Mixing prints can prove to be a tad bit risky, particularly in a country like my own, where people are not very used to doing it. However, I have come to the conclusion that, when it comes to style, it is far more important to stay true to yourself, than following the fad of the moment. Here is a look I wore not too long ago. By keeping one color scheme I was able to create an outfit that was quirky, but not wacko. I hope you like it!
I’ve already mentioned before my love for interior design. There’s something about creating warm and inviting ambiances that sooth you after a long work day. Hence, when I step in a place that offers me an eye-catching piece of decoration, I always appreciate it. My visits to “Hecho en Casa”, a small space devoted to showcasing everything from clothes to furniture, strictly designed and made in El Salvador, are always a chance to find interesting pieces. I came by a few weeks ago and loved the atypical luminaire display on their outside balcony. I hope you find it as inspiring as I did!
Sending you a spark of love!
