One of the best parts of Fashion is pushing your creativity in order to make new, and unique combinations. Layering is an easy way of achieving originality on your look on a daily basis. A few days back, I grabbed a simple, off the shoulder, white dress that -TBH- hadn’t much going in for it, and layered it in a way that I would actually want to wear. I topped the dress with a sandy colour crochet vest, and again with a military style gilet. How do you guys feel about it?
Hi guys! I loved the easiness of this look: a bare shoulder, a frayed hem, a monochrome palette. It is my perfect combination for a casual work day. Plus my feet appreciate the flat, classic Audrey Hepburn style pumps. I hope you guys like it!
PS: I was so lucky to step into the chic boutique hotel of Il Bongustaio. This petite, 5 room, hotel is a certain oasis in the middle of the city. It transported me to an Italian villa, with its beautiful gardens, filled with cascading bougainvilleas; its dome shaped hallways, and its marbled floors. A soothing place, that certainly goes well with the italian cuisine served at the, open to all public, next door restaurant.
Hi you guys! I hope you are doing all well! I’ve been pretty busy these past days, working on the styling of an ad campaign, but I still wanted to share with you a casual look I wore not too long ago. I was in the mood for mixing it up, and so I paired a star print top, with a checked shirt. I decided it was best to keep the look on the cool tones, and I was careful not to pair it with your typical red & navy combo, which would have definitely make me look like the American flag. I hope you guys like it!
Wishing you a blasting weekend!
There is something I must admit about this look. It was actually inspired by one of my best friend’s previous outfit. I was never a fan of XL length tops like this burgundy one, until I saw it on my friend one night. As it happened we went to a chill house reunion with a few friends, and she was wearing a pair of vintage looking black jeans and a grey t-shirt, that shapelessly fell all the way to her kneecap. I personally was not allured by it. But the night rolled in, and we moved the party to a club. My friend and I went separately. As I saw her stepping down the car, my opinion about the garment of my objection, completely changed. She had effortlessly tied both ends on a simple yet cool looking knot to the left side of her perfectly toned torso. Needless to say, she looked hot, hot, hot. So when this excessive peace of cloth came my way, I was no longer offended by it, on the contrary it made me want to create a beautiful outfit with it. I hope you guys like it!
I’ve already mentioned before my love for interior design. There’s something about creating warm and inviting ambiances that sooth you after a long work day. Hence, when I step in a place that offers me an eye-catching piece of decoration, I always appreciate it. My visits to “Hecho en Casa”, a small space devoted to showcasing everything from clothes to furniture, strictly designed and made in El Salvador, are always a chance to find interesting pieces. I came by a few weeks ago and loved the atypical luminaire display on their outside balcony. I hope you find it as inspiring as I did!
Sending you a spark of love!
Morning everyone! As much as I’m self-conscious about my arms, there is always that urge to wear tops that will allow me to showcase a bit of them. With the pro-shoulder movement we’ve been witnessing in the past seasons, this need is perfectly covered. The super sexy trend allows me to uncover my shoulders without having to unveil my not-so-toned arms. Here is an outfit I wore a little while ago. I hope you guys like it!
Hi guys! Just thought I would leave you with a look I wore not too long ago. I decided to go for a combination of neutrals, and paired a white jacket with black ripped jeans. Albeit the destruction of the jeans, the outfit works well for business meetings thanks to the smart outer piece, the heels and the handbag. I hope you like it!
Hi guys! My hair has been particularly hard to handle lately with the humidity, the heat and its length. I have to say it can get a little bit frustrating. A couple of weeks ago, I had the luck of trying L’Oreal’s Steam Pod treatment, which hydrated my hair, removed the its frizz and filled it with life. A total wonder! This was not the first treatment I had, but it surely was a great one. I noticed the difference not only on the day I got it, but after showering a few times as well. If you get the chance, I encourage you to try it too! Here are some shots we took on the day I got the treatment done.
A big hug!
