The best part about having your sisters grow up, is the expansion of your own wardrobe. Lucky for me, at the moment my baby sis and I can share pretty much all of our clothes and shoes, not only that, but she has inherited a keen sense of style (obviously learnt from the best! ha!). You can actually follow her on her shared Instagram feed (@lifethrghlenses). Now, she may hate me for posting this cute dress on my blog, before letting her post it on her IG account, but, babe, if you are reading this, what's mine is yours and vice versa.

Happy Tuesday you guys! Third pieces are always a great way to pull an outfit together. They allow us to create interesting silhouettes, as well as play with colours and volumes. This is why it is always a good idea to invest on them. However, with El Salvador’s heat, it is sometimes difficult, and even silly to wear third pieces. BUT! one can always find a way, and in our case, vests are a great choice to layer up without feeling like a smoked piece of ham. I wore this outfit last week and was super in love with the utility vest, plus a girl can always use a couple of extra pockets! I hope you like it!
The new year is crawling towards us. For 2016, there is a few things written down on my list of wishes, and propositions (career, self growth, and love being at the top of my list). It feels good to start over. It feels good to have a clean year ahead, in which whatever happened before will just help us get to a new, better place. I wish you all an amazing year, and I thank you for being my companions and baring with me in 2015. xxA
So, holidays are right around the corner, and with all the rush of times we barely have time to stop, think and figure out what to wear to all the many events you might have lined up for the season. To make your life a tad easier, I decided to help you with a few outfit ideas. I love the versatility of this shirt, and how I can go from day to night with it. Here is a look I would happily wear to my friend’s Xmas dinner. What do you think?
Last Tuesday was the opening of Monica Arguedas’ new store. For those of you who are wondering, she is a young salvadoran designer known originally for her swimwear, but who then also stepped into the eveningwear market. For the occasion, I wore a maxi boho inspired dress from Express. A piece that immediately made me fall in love, so much so I didn’t want to take it off.
If there is one thing I love about dresses is how they tend to make for a quick and easy outfit. Whenever I find myself running from work to an evening event, or cocktail party, slipping into a one piece look is always a fine idea. All I have to do is throw in a pair of killer heels, and statement jewellery, and Voilá!
I am not much of a trousers girl, but the minute I spotted this pair, I knew I had to have them. They were lurking on the hanger behind a couple of white blouses. Crisp, clean. “It is the last pair”, pointed out one of the shop girls as she saw me coveting them. They were a size too small. But ladies, when we really want something, we don’t mind sweating a little bit for it. I had to squeeze myself in. Yes they were a size too small, but those oh so straight legs that make mine look lengthier, and that high waist that makes mine look daintier… I had to have them! Besides, no one else can tell; and I am not one to complain.
